I've been working on our first web app for several months now, which was inspired by playing with the Silverlight 1.1 Alpha bits released around 18 months ago. As soon as I starred coding Silverlight in C# I was totally sold. Closely following the progress of Silverlight from the 1.1 Alpha through to v2 Beta 2 we started development of colaab around 6 months ago, starting from scratch with the Beta 1 release. As such It's exciting to find it getting to a stage where it can be begin to be exposed publicly. Over the coming weeks I'm keen to gather together an increasing number of private Beta users, and begin to explore possible partnerships and commercial opportunities.

One part of this strategy is to get my ass down to Brighton for the event, to keep on top of the tech coming out of Microsoft, demo and gather feedback on colaab and have some fun in the process.

As such, if you're interested in going through a demonstration of a Silverlight based collaboration and communication application and getting early access to the beta, please just give me a shout. You can email me at bob@stormideas.com, or if just grab me if you see me walking past - I'll be the guy wearing the black t-shirt with the bright yellow "colaab" on it. ;)

If I look a little wild eyed just remember I've been through the coding looking glass for the last few months!

We're still smoothing out some of the rougher edges of the colaab marketing site, but head over there if you want to have a look to get an idea of the product.
